Faithfull makeup brands??

I used NYX (foundation), Clinique (mascara), Buxom (eyeshadow), MAC (lips). I heard Urban Decay has a setting spray that you may want to use, see if your local Sephora has a sample?

I would definitely recommend you visit Sephora, Ulta Beauty or somewhere similar and speak with them about finding a primer and setting spray suitable for your skin type.

Prepping your skin and setting your makeup is so important to ensure coverage all day! My favorite primer is Smashbox's Photo Finish primer, and I cannot live without (slight exaggeration ) the MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ spray!

Urban Decay All Nighter is the setting spray and I got mine in matte cause theres a good chance itll be humid around my wedding day.

Actually makeup forever is a strong brand for all areas - it is designed as professional makeup for MUAs. I use Jane Irredale and thrive causemetics for lips because they're all non-drying.

For foundation, that's a tougher one because you want the right color and a type that works for your skin. Large pores, dry skin, sensitive skin, etc. I'm dry + sensitive and I actually love boots no. 7 foundation.

Tarte shape tape is like universally touted as a great concealer. I use it mainly under my eyes and love it. The only complaint I have with it is its scented. Like why? 😂

I am having someone do my makeup but I love make up. Brands I LOVE:

foundation/concealer: shape tape (tarte)

eyeshadows: natasha denona (super expensive) urban decay, mac

urban decay setting spray is amazing for setting everything together.

I love Tarte! I'm using foundation abs concealer from them, and I'm pretty sure a setting spray. It stays in place and blends very well!!!
Also, lipstick I'm using Jeffree Starr. Sat what you want about him, but his lipstick is fantastic and stays where you want it to!

The only foundation I will put on my face is Clinique super balance. I have been using it for about 7 years now. I get complimented quite often about how flawless my face/skin looks and I alway tell people 1. I drink about 60 ounces of water a day 2. I moisturize every morning with Clinique moisture surge 3. I wear Clinique super balance makeup and apply with a brush made more for powder.

I also love Clinique mascara. I do not like water proof mascara and the Clinique that I use will only remove with warm water so I'm not worried about crying.

I also set my eyeliner with powder and it like never runs or rubs off. Some people may not like this idea, but I tight line my eyes, so I line the entire upper and lower water line, and set it with powder like every day and have been doing it for 10 years. Yes some black powder gets on my eyeball but I blink a few times and it goes away no problem.

I'm not big on setting spray so when I need to "set" my makeup like for a night out I just lightly spay with hairspray. Like super lightly spray it in the air and stick my head into the mist. Kind of weird, but I don't want to spend money on setting spray Ill only use every so often.

The only makeup I use is Mary Kay. I love the foundations that just came out and the mascara is awesome too. Plus it's the only makeup I don't have an allergic reaction to!

Love my NARS foundation but man is it pricey.

Thank you guys for all the replies! I'll have to go visit a shop sometime. I'm having a friend do my makeup, but I'm the one ordering the product. It's nice to have a few choices of what really works.

I'm super white and super pink, so too faced born this way was perfect for foundation. Shape tape concealer. Of you're wearing falsies, don't spend a ton of money of expensive mascara. Smashbox, stila, and Anastasia Beverly Hills all make really nice matte liquid lips. Physicians formula makes a really nice bronzer, especially for the price. Morphe makes nice eyeshadows without being too expensive. Urban decay up all nighter setting spray is amazing. I did a scavenger hunt race while using it in 85 degree heat and my makeup still looked fine!
