Fake Cake??

Up close as the camera is it looks a little fake. But from a normal distance it looks perfect. If anything, (and don't just take it from me, I'm awful at cake decor), I'd play with the frosting a little more. Almost tooks too perfect/ uniform.


I wanted to do this too!! Lol I just can't do a cake cutting with foam. Yours looks fantastic. 😊

Hmm, I'm 50/50 but don't really care if it isn't edible. Do you want to spend $ on a cake at all? Do you need to display a cake to please others? Just some personal questions to ponder. There are so many options these days: donuts, cupcakes, macaroons, etc. I'm thinking of a 2 or 3 layered cake myself but only 1 of the layers is actually edible! The rest will be fake, and we'll serve cookies or whatever other dessert instead.

I would never know. It looks real. But be aware that a fake tier will cost more than a real cake. Also your guests may wonder why you aren’t cutting it.

I love it and I think it looks real! And I love the Sola wood flowers! I was debating getting those myself!

The only part that looks fake is the flowers, and they don't even look *that* fake.
