Fake engagement/wedding rings to bring on honeymoon

I think fake/cheap rings are a must when traveling to the Caribbean. It drives me crazy when I see women wear tons and tons of expensive jewelry in super poor countries. Don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself as its not worth the risk. Good idea!

My DH and I did this!!!!!!! I don't wear my E-ring in water anyway, so when we went to Hawaii and snorkeled and swam, it was just great to not have to worry about leaving it behind or it slipping off and sinking to the bottom of a lava tube. A $20 investment was WELL worth the peace of mind. Plus, it was a funny story when people complimented it, lol.

I've definitely suggested that to my FH before. It's a great idea!

Where in the maldives?? I'm finding honeymoon planning to be as difficult as wedding planning.

I think this is unnecessary.... I've traveled to multiple Caribbean islands with my ring and have never felt worried?

If your concern is ruining it...unless you're doing some serious activity the ring should be okay.

If you do an activity that worries you just leave it in the safe during that period of time. Example- we're going to a volcano that has cool mud baths. I don't plan to wear my ring in the mud so it will be in a safe

@Jess V. I bought them from Amazon! Have used them a number of times while travelling...gives me the peace of mind in not having to worry about losing or ruining my real rings

Silicon bands. They don't cost much. Plus they are gaining in popularity so easy to get.

I swear by my QALO ring!! I wore it on a family vacation to the beach and kept my engagement ring at home just so i wouldn't mess it up. Stayed on perfectly when swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, everything. Plus I wear i pretty much every day when im working out so I don't scratch my band or pinch a nerve in my finger while lifting. We will be leaving our real rings at home with my MOH while we are on the honeymoon and wearing these instead!

Yes, QALO! I bought a QALO ring to wear on the honeymoon, as well as while working out and doing physical/outdoor activities. I plan to leave my real rings at home so I do not risk losing them while on the trip.
