Fake Flower budget?

Mary, on May 4, 2021 at 9:55 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6

I am trying to set our budget and I have no idea what I should budget for fake flowers. We are having a very small wedding, with no reception. Just buffet type apps after the ceremony with a few tables. Only inviting 44 people with no guarantee they will all show up.

So those of you who used fake flowers, what did you end up spending? Extra points if you had a small wedding. So mainly just my bouquet, bridesmaids, boutonniere, and some for the arch.

Look into renting them from Something Borrowed Blooms, probably a lot cheaper and easier than buying and arranging on your own!

This is really going to vary by the quality of the flowers to. Fake flowers can range from the cheap ones you find at the dollar store to super high end silk flowers that look and feel like the real thing, and everything in between. There are also sola wood floors, which are popular, and even paper flowers.

I also rented from Something Borrowed Blooms and it cost me like $500. Way cheaper than using real ones, and they send you everything ready to go. I had 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 2 garlands for an arch, and 2 centerpieces.

Our flowers/decor budget is 1000 but that also includes the vases for the centerpieces, flowers for 12 centerpieces , sign flowers, arch flowers, sweetheart table swag, and some to hang off chairs in the ceremony.

Flowers were still important to me so I definitely wanted some that looked high quality. I also plan to use my bouquet as decor in my house after the wedding. We decided we would go with either Ling's Moment or Something Borrowed Blooms.

If we were just doing bridesmaid bouquet, bridesmaids bouquet ,boutonnieres, and an arch garland that would have been about 350 from Ling's Moment, and about 275 from Something Borrowed Blooms. Ling's is purchased flowers, and SBB is rented. Both of these estimates are for pre-arranged items.
