Fall 2020 Brides!

I'd love to hear your ideas for the theme & vision of your big day! What colors will you be using? Do you have any specific types of flowers or decor in mind? What (if any) Fall elements are you incorporating?

September 2020 here. Colors are gold, ivory, burgundy, blush, and black. I am using birch twigs in my centerpieces for the nod to fall and may include some leftovers in my bouquets. We don't really have a theme, but we are playing off of my dress, his tux, and the venue cocktail hour bar which has a modernized speakeasy/lounge feel. So, we are going to incorporate a little vintage glam with sparkling accents and music as well as some of the photography. My makeup will be dramatic/glam, etc. My flowers are DIY from Lings moment - tea and hybrid roses, gardenias, eucalyptus, and a filler I have yet to choose (something that is spikey like lavender, but in burgundy or gold).

Hey date twin! We are doing a black and white masquerade ball with Halloween incorporated in everything! So pumpkins, skeletons, spiders, cobwebs, etc. They may not be in the "Fall" colors but they will be there. Even at the candy bar, it will have all the classic treats that you get for Halloween!! Caramel apples, popcorn balls, and everything!

Sounds absolutely lovely! I'm planning on burgundy for bridesmaids also - it's such a flattering color for so many skin tones! I'm starting to open my mind to consider pumpkins as well... I LOVE fall, but I've only ever imagined romantic reds when picturing my big day.

Birch is so gorgeous! You're painting a beautiful picture for your wedding. The speakeasy is an awesome feature for sure. It sounds like it will all tie together wonderfully!

Hi there! That. Sounds. Amazing!!! Masquerades are so elegant and fun, it sounds like it will incorporate the traditional Halloween decor/elements beautifully too! FH and I are obsessed with Halloween, we're just not sure how much we're going to incorporate it into our wedding just yet. We've started talking pumpkins, mums, and a candy bar.

Super excited Fall bride here! I have been obsessed with autumn and Halloween ever since I was a small child. So it came as no surprise to my friends & family that we are having an autumn wedding! However, they will be surprised to find that neither Fall nor Halloween will not be the major themes in the wedding (seriously, I think they all are assuming they will be walking into a Fall craft shop or a gothic Halloween room, because I go waaaaaay overboard with decorating my entire house every year). Instead, we will just have small nods to fall throughout - the color scheme is not overly autumn like, but I will be incorporating orange flowers here and there and all the candles will be black. Our wedding guest favors will be autumn treats, and we will be having an apple cider liquor as our signature cocktail. I also found wedding invitations that look “normal”, But if you look closely at them, there are tiny little pumpkins and bats hidden in them. I also am contemplating painting some black pumpkins to incorporate in our aisle decor- depends on how it looks once we do a mock up. As much as I wanted to go nuts with the fall/Halloween Decour, I knew it was expected. So I wanted to throw everyone a curveball!
