"Fall" Colors for a Spring Wedding...Thoguhts?

I've always wanted a Sept. wedding but due to circumstances we're getting married in April on my FH's birthday. However I still want cool dark "fall" colors for my decor; Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Maroon, may be some Orange and Gold. I'm thinking about keeping the Navy Blue and adding some pastels,...

I've always wanted a Sept. wedding but due to circumstances we're getting married in April on my FH's birthday.

However I still want cool dark "fall" colors for my decor; Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Maroon, may be some Orange and Gold.

I'm thinking about keeping the Navy Blue and adding some pastels, with gold. I'm not quite sure yet.

    I chose my colors based on what I like and not time of year...pick whatever colors make you happy!

    I have fall colors for my spring (ok, just right at the beginning of spring) wedding: burgundy/Marsala, light blush pink, gold and cream. It's also because our ceremony is in an Episcopal church and the reception is in a 1920s-meets-modern hotel with lots and lots of glitz and gold.

    FH and I originally planned on getting married in the fall but due to some family health issues we moved it up to May. We kept the colors though, navy, blush and cranberry. So it doesn't really matter as long as you love the colors!

    Go with what you guys love there should be no color rule. As long as you feel it looks great together.
