Hello! So excited to have a fall photo shoot with my man! I’m unsure what outfit color combos would look amazing against colorful trees or earthy tones? Fall colors are what I wear most of the time (maroons, reds, oranges, yellows), but I’m wondering if they won’t pop since a lot of the background will be those colors? Please drop any fall photos so I can have some ideas or inspiration! Thank you soooo much!

I agree, I think those colors will get lost in the colors of the foliage. I would wear colors like a deep hunter green, camel, black, white. Maybe even a dark plum.

We went with tones that match the scenery instead of popping. I did olive green and he went with dark gray.

Ours were done in January but as you can see where I live doesn’t get snow, so it looks like a late fall shoot.

And these are from when he proposed on our trip to the mountains in October. Hope these help!

So many colors go great with fall backdrops! You can also ask your photographer if they have some examples to share with you; mine gave us a whole guide on clothing.

We did a almost fall engagement pictures. The reason I say almost is because last fall it took the trees a lot longer to change colors than they had the past falls before. We did them in October. Here are our engagement photos
