Fall Weddings

Hello, I’m getting married Sept. 30th, 2023. Hoping it’s nice out so my ceremony can be outside. What is everyone’s ideas for decorating their outside ceremony space?

For a fall outdoor wedding, you could do bales of hay with fall colored flowers (and/or pumpkins), fall colored leaves down the aisle instead of rose petals, pumpkins lining the sides of the aisle instead of an aisle runner, etc.

I love seeing fall leaves, pumpkins, and gourds at fall weddings

I really love the idea of haybales also! I think I have those exact pictures pinned in my Pinterest board.

I also found those on Pinterest! Are you planning to use the hay bales as seating for guests? Or just for decor? I think either option would be awesome!

I think just for decor. I have my great aunts and uncles coming and I feel they wouldn’t be too comfortable for them!

I'm getting married Sept 17 of this year, but I'm not making it a "fall" themed wedding. We're decorating our outside ceremony space with petals along the side of the aisle, the pergola will have greenery already and we'll be doing drapery. Then I have a few larger flower arrangements that will go at the beginning of the aisle. Otherwise we're keeping it simple, because we're only in that space for 30 minutes

We got married October 1st at an outdoor venue. Thankfully even in early fall, the outdoors do most of the decorating. We actually grew pie pumpkins and blue jarrahdale pumpkins to line the aisle and use as centerpieces to keep costs down. It's not the most grandiose, but neither are weFall Weddings 4

I'm getting married in Oct 2022 and centerpieces are like the bane of my existence right now... I just can't seem to mentally commit to anything. BUT I LOVE your simple pumpkin on the table. LOVE IT. I have purchased so many fake pumpkins and leaves at this point. HELP

I’m also using wooden slabs and mason jars for centerpieces! Very simple and very pretty.

This is where our ceremony is going to be and to be honest I don’t want a ton of decorations here.. I want it simple and sweet! I’m going to have a rust colored cheese cloth draped over the arch

Yeah, but we told our guests to take pumpkins home and many did, but by the end of the night we told our bridal party there was a 7 pumpkin minimum, lol! We still had about 20 pumpkins on our front porch for Halloween. And ate pumpkin pie, and pumpkin soup, and pumpkin salad.... but we got a little more use out of our centerpieces, I suppose!
