Hey ladies, I was wondering if you have any advice/experience on this topic. Whichever you recommend, please list which style/brand worked best so I can try them out. Thanks!

NO problem!! Glad I could help, if you do like I did though and cover the lash ext with your own everyday mascara remember you want waterproof of that too! Just a thought! I tend to get too excited and miss a detail, and that one's important, you don't want to cry then have white ext tips afterwards! LOL. Just a reminder!!

I have never had false lashes but I am going to try it for my wedding. I'm going for a more natural lash look, dramatic eyes and deep red lipstick and nails. This is for an evening wedding.

I NEVER wear false lashes but while on vacation in Canada i tried false lashes for the fun of it at the MAC counter and they were GORGEOUS and only 20 bucks and the consultant put them on for me! They were basically enhancers and once you add the mascara to it they look absolutely natural, full, and long! I tried putting it on myself and had trouble but i hardly wear make up at all so i dont know if i am just clumsy or they are hard to do. LOL For my wedding i will be wearing the very natural looking ones to enhance my eyes. I say try it out a few weeks before the wedding especially if your doing it yourself and also to see how you like it.

I want false lashes also...but with my luck with things like that, they would probably end up floating in my soup!

Quick story...I wear wigs, weaves, extensions, false ponytails, etc. all the time, because I dare to be different, lol, one day I was on the bus with my 3 year old and I had on a hat, but it was too warm on the bus so I took my hat off and continued to read my magazine, my 3 y.o. said (very loudly) "Mommy what happened to your hair!", I reached up to touch it, lo and behold, the wig had come off with my hat and I was sitting on a crowded bus with just a stocking cap on...I was never so embarrassed.

Thanks future mrs smith! I think I'll try that first. Maybe I'll just give both a try. I don't have thick lashes, so I just want them to be a little fuller s o they'll show better in pictures and make my eyes look bigger, but if I can get the look with the two mascaras, at least that's one less thing I'll have to worry about on my wedding day (lashes in the soup, or on my cheek or in the cake, etc!).

I've been trying them out to get used to putting them on and how the different ones look (e.g. individual clusters versus a full line of lashes). They are really cheap at CVS (under $10) for the brands many of the makeup artists recommend (Andrea or Revlon). So far it's been pretty easy and the ones today were very subtle but helpful.

I just took engagement photos today with my false eyelashes. What a difference! They look great on camera. And they were 'normal' enough that my FH didn't give me a hard time about not looking like myself.

I recommend false eyelashes to everyone for their wedding day because once you have them on it automatically looks like you have eyeliner on your top lids!

I usually get mine at Sephora or Ulta just because I like the various styles and such that they have. Always, ALWAYS test them WAY before your wedding day though. I know a couple people who found out they were allergic to the glue and had to find one that worked for them.

Definitely false eyelashes! My makeup artist uses this brand called Model 21 Eyelashes. She loves them. She's done them for all my friends weddings, they look so natural and light, I dare say sexy innocent, if that's even possible. You would wear false eyelashes with mascara, they turn out fabulous in pictures. Oh here's their website http://www.model21eyelashes.com
