I did individual falsies and it makes them a little longer, but also a lot thicker which is what helps them show in photos. Extensions just make them longer and don’t actually help them show up in photos that well. They’re also cost prohibitive in my opinion.

I get lash extensions on a regular basis and they look natural but you can have them upgraded to 3,4,5 D or volume lashes to make them bolder. Make sure that you request a LOT of lashes so that they dont look puny. Dont get them done at a nail salon. Go to a place like Amazing Lash studio or research people that do 3D+ lashes in your area. There can be big differences in price so do your research You might want to do a set a few weeks before and then a fill right before. They look good for a couple of weeks and mine can last 3-4 weeks (if you take care of them-washimg, brushing, etc). My MOH uses the magnetic lashes that you take on and off. She likes them and looks good. You just need to practice putting them on.

I got lash extensions but they ruined my real lashes. If I could do it over I would’ve done false lashes.

I got lash extensions and I went the natural route which means a lot of them felt off before the wedding so the day of I had to get fake lashes as well. I was extremely careful with it but I had a destination wedding so I tried avoid oils but couldn’t precisely avoid the heat much. I was careful when washing my face but I had an event a day before the wedding so I had full glam that I had to remove the next day. This might be the reason why I lost a lot of them and I also got them done 5 days before the wedding.

I won’t be doing either. I’ve been using FEG lash serum ($7 on amazon!) and it’s definitely helped

I tried out lash extensions a couple months ago and I did not like them at all. They felt weird when I closed my eyes and the first night I slept with them 15 of the corner lashes on the right side fell off and it looked ridiculous. Within a week over half of them were gone. You’re supposed to get them at least 3 days before an event because you can have a reaction/ irritation of the eye from the glue that takes 3-4 days to receiver from but with how many fell out the first night it’s not even worth it. I got them for a boudoir shoot and had to hire a hair and makeup person last minute to patch in all the missing lashes and I also had a red spot on my that didn’t clear up until the last second before the shoot (3.5 days after I had the lashes put on). I thought I would love them but that experience made me hate them for sure.

I used this and it really did work. However, I haven’t used it in quite some time and my lashes have gone back to normal.

Falsies. I am not a huge fan of the way extensions look personally - a bit too spidery for me.

I got eyelash extensions - mostly so that I don't have to put mascara on for the entire honeymoon!

It depends what you’re trying to achieve. If you want more dramatic & fake-looking lashes for only your wedding day, go with falsies. If you want to have great lashes for pre-wedding events, wedding & honeymoon, and you prefer less fake look, and you can afford them, go for extensions.
With extensions, make sure to go to a reputable salon so that you don’t have any infection issues & also that the glue they use is non-irritating. Extensions can last up to 2 months (they will natural fall out but by bit) if you take good care of them. So you can’t rub your eyes or use oil makeup remover, you should also use minimal mascara if you absolutely have to. If you have extensions once or 3-4 times a year, they will not damage your natural lashes. However, if you start getting them on regular basis without giving your lashes 2 months in between to rest & regrow, your natural lashes might become shorter & sparser over time.

I love lash boost! Last time I used mine regularly, I had to trim my lashes they were so long! I just started back up and hoping not to have to use falsies.

I second this! I was going the extension route and was talking about it with some friends and one of the girls had them and when removing she lost a lot of her natural lashes. I’m not sure if that’s normal but I personally don’t want to chance it. I will make them look natural with falsies rather than have to wear falsie for the rest of time 😂 if anyone has a different experience however I’m very curious
