Family Friendly Bachelorette Party?

Seattle Colio, on July 18, 2017 at 4:05 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 6

Hi all!

I'm trying to think of bachelorette party ideas that would be suitable for my nearly 8-year old soon-to-be-stepdaughter, my mom and future MIL. I would love for both of them to be involved in the party!

I've tossed around the idea of doing a tea-party type thing, but am not sure if that would be enough. Maybe Ride The Ducks, but my wedding is in November, so I'm not sure that the Ducks would work in Seattle. Not really into spas, and don't want tons of people crashing at my house (so no to slumber parties), so my options seem limited.

Any thoughts or brilliant ideas?! Thanks in advance!

Maybe do a special party with just you and your step daughter. That way you can bond and your other guest do not have to worry about planning for someone so young.

ETA: Roller coasters are fun for kids her age and adults!

    Maybe a sporting event?

I've seen a lot of dinner & Paint Nite type bachelorette parties before hand which would be appropriate for attendees of all ages!

Paint nights are a lot of fun! Laser tag, paint balling, etc. Sometimes it's fun to act like a kid again!

Are there other women involved or is that the total group? we invited moms/flower girls to get their nails done with us at a friend's bachelorette, and then went out to bars afterwards without them.

Great ideas, ladies! I appreciate it. Smiley smile

And Ella -- there are other women involved. The majority are mid-20s, along with my daughter, my mom and my future MIL. There may also be a baby involved as my future SIL has a 5-month-old.
