As a dental professional, your best bet is to do an in office whitening at the dental office. However, as PP stated it may cause some minimal sensitivity. I would use it in conjunction with sensodyne.

You won't really notice any results from non rapid and non prescription grade whiteners in such a short amount of time.

Find a professional teeth whitening service in your area! In-office procedures will give you results after just one appointment, and they should also send you home with a teeth tray and whitening gel to maintain the results at home.

One thing to be conscious of with the teeth whitening trays is that the whole tooth may not take up the bleaching agent evenly - I have the trays and the upper half of the teeth were bright white while the lower parts were not - overall the end result was uneven. Personally I'd prefer even, ivory teeth to speckled white and ivory teeth, but that's just me
