So I am fat. Heyyyy I like food ha. Anywho working on that fat thing now. Buuuuttt because of it we didnt get a real ring yet. We are going to get one once I feel I have lost enough weight. But heres a question. what if i dont lose the weight quick enough? what if my finger doesnt shrink. I have been much smaller before but still wore a size 10 ring. Skinny but yet with fat fingers ha. I read on multiple forums that if you have large fingers then you HAVE to get at least a 1ct or 1.5ct or your ring will just look stupid because your fingers are to big. Well we cant afford that. I was thinking at the very most just under 1/2 carat. Prolly more towards 1/4. Can any of you relate? Or show me your smaller rings? I really want an idea of how the 1/4 or 1/3 diamonds look.

I LOVE aquamarine!!!! I actually considered having an aquamarine engagement ring because that's my hunnie's birthstone...I actually have some BEAUTIFUL aquamarine and diamond (my birthstone) earrings that he brought be...

Look at these...Aquamarine is honestly a light enough stone that no one will really notice it is a gemstone until they get up on it.

The nice thing about Overstock also is that if you read the reviews a lot of people post pics of the jewelry on their finger which can give you a better idea of what it looks like in person and they have a great return policy,

My engagement ring is silver, not sure what the diamonds are. (Probably whatever the smallest/cheapest is) Our wedding rings will probably be silver also. We plan on upgrading our rings when we are able to financially for one of our anniversaries.

My ring is a 7 but it definitely fits too tight when it is hot out and gets stuck on my knuckle. My center stone is a London blue topaz which happens to be the stone for November the month we are getting married in so it kind of worked out nicely. The center stone is about 2K and only cost $400 which is a fraction of a good diamond that size. This way he was able to custom the ring with the rest of the money. I think I will get mine stretched a bit because I get at ring muffin top and claustrophobia that itmight not come off. I dodon't mind if it is not the proper way to have it fit as long as I am comfortable wearing it and it looks good. No one will even know what size it is anyway. Plus I hear when you add the wedding band it automatically makes the rings tighter on your finger.

@ #1 Wife! FH chose a halo for me for the very same reason. The bigger look is just an added benefit.
