I asked my father to choose a song and he chose What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. And he sang a bit of it to me while we were dancing. 😊

Mine may seem kind of there compared to the others but my father and I will be dancing to changes by Ozzy and Kelly Osbroune.

We are dancing to "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis, everytime it says Cinderella, he's going to spin me ♡

I’m going to dance What a wonderful day by Louis Armstrong... I’d love to dance a song with the father/daughter theme but my dad passed away, and I get very emotional by all those songs (I’m kind of expecting one of my uncles to ask for one of those anyways).

I’m mixing my songs, my girl by temptations then a stepping songs since my dad can step!

My father wrote a song for us to dance to. He’s having it produced and recorded. I probably won’t hear the words till that day, but will likely hear the music before so we can practice dancing to. This is one of two songs he’s written for the wedding. He originally wrote a song for FH and I that he’s performing with the band we’re having for cocktail hour. I haven’t heard that one yet, either. So excited.

My dad and I both love old country and he is also a cattle rancher (something I love and am very proud of!) so I’m thinking I want to dance to “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys” by Willie Nelson with him.

Mine is “have I told you lately by van morrison” it’s not a typical father daughter song but when I was younger my dad loved this song and he taught me the chorus so he would sing the first line and I would sing the next one back and so on. I wanted to choose a song that meant something to both of us so this one was an easy pick. Maybe there’s a song that your dad used to always sing or play when you were younger that resonates with you?

This was hard for me too but I’m leaning towards Mariah Carey - Hero

My dad picked our song, "I hope you dance". It's not the original version though.
