Faux Flower Bouquets

Madison, on August 3, 2021 at 10:07 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3
Hello everyone! I am planning on doing faux flowers for my wedding! I am trying to decide if I want to make them myself or get them from somewhere else! For those who made them yourself, was it too difficult? What was it like?

In addition, how do we feel about boutonnières? Can’t decide if I want them or not!

I'm not making mine, but I helped my sister make hers, it was a little difficult to hold it all together while wrapping (for hers she had a plastic frame which made it much easier) but we made 6 bridesmaid bouquets, her bridal, and 8 boutonnieres in the span of like 3 hours with 3 people doing them.

I ordered a faux rental bouquet from Wedding Flowers for Rent and I absolutely adored it. It honestly photographed really well and the rest of the floral pieces we rented were amazing as well. I think I paid $150 for the boutonnière, floral garland, bouquet, and cake florals (this was a custom piece I requested and was able to keep!) with shipping. It was nice ordering and then forgetting about it until a few days before.

I watched a youtube video that they used a wire egg or ball to make the bouquet. The eggs or balls can be found on Amazon. My co-workers sister is making my bouquet as my one hand is messed up from a car accident this past June.
