Things are quieting down for the night so I thought I'd start a fun thread.. FH and I have our cake tasting tomorrow afternoon and I just want to taste all the cakes. What is your favorite flavor for wedding cake and filling? What did/are you planning to have? Look at all these delicious options

My baby sister is helping me bake the cupcakes for our small, 30-person wedding and we're making pistachio, chocolate, and gluten free vanilla cupcakes with a small tiered cake for the cutting of the cake. It's going to be super easy and fun!

Ours was a chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling and buttercream frosting. To die for. We loved it!

Yellow cake is my FAVORITE! That and chocolate. Mmmmm. I'm not a huge fan of crazy fillings or over the top icing. Give me vanilla or chocolate any day!

We got white cake with strawberry filling for the main cake, with the top tier being strawberry cake with strawberry filling that we get to take home. The Groom's cake is lemon with raspberry filling and it tastes amazing.

We are doing chocolate cake with pinapple filling and raspberry swirl cake with cream cheese filling. I cant wait.

We're having a handful of one-tier cakes, but the most interesting flavor we've picked is an almond cake with apricot filling and cream cheese icing. We'll probably have a strawberry one and a chocolate one, too, among a couple others.
