Was the ceremony done a certain way? Amazing food choices? Unique game at the reception?

Amazing food. Like it was so good. I don't think I could even top it at a 5 star restaurant.

The most recent wedding I went to my favorite detail was that the husband sang a song he wrote for the bride to her

Got chocolate with little marshmallows in shapes of gingerbread, trees, and candy canes and I just loved it

My favorite details have always been really specific to the couple. A ceremony that reflects the shared passion or quirks or oddness of the two getting married. Decorations that are personal (some friends once photoshopped Godzillas into Jane Austen book covers for their table numbers). Things like that.

    Oh, and a good DJ.

Honestly, the one wedding detail that I loved the most was from one I attended in western PA. The favors were Smiley cookies (from a local restaurant, Eat’n Park) in the wedding colors. I thought it was such a cute way to incorporate the area without being overbearing.

Usually, the venue and food/drinks. My favorite weddings had several common traits: destination weddings, fewer than 50 guests, no DJ/dancing. No spectacular decor but unique venues and just a sweet intimate vibe to them. Very romantic, even as a guest!

My friend had what I can only think to call an "artist guestbook". There was a large canvas on one side of her venue with an artist and paint. Each guest painted a little symbol as their signature and wrote their name on the back. After the wedding, the artist tied all the little symbols together in a nice painting. It was a cute unique guestbook.

Anything that is not overly formal or cliché. I like it to reflect the couple and for the event to be fun! It's a celebration after allSmiley smile

When most guests talked about how the groom couldn’t take his eyes from her all day!
