Favorite Pinterest details

I pretty much made Pinterest board for everything wedding related - flower girl dresses, wedding programs, boutonnieres, bouquets, hair pieces for the flower girls, centerpieces, arches, corsages for mother of the bride and groom, flower girl shoes, signs, wedding food, shower themes, ways guests could write messages for us, invitations, hair and makeup, garters, ring bearer pillow and flower girl baskets, table numbers, cakes, sand ceremony, shoes, and how to decorate the fountain at our venue. I kind of went crazy with creating boards, but it was an easy way to save ideas I liked. Below I have included photos from my wedding of things that Pinterest inspired. The first three I found when I was trying to find must have photos. Our photographer had asked for a list so I Googled popular wedding poses and found ones similar to mine. I loved them so I included them on my list of must have photos to my photographer. For our programs, I wanted some unique so I searched Pinterest for unique wedding programs. The arch we rented I found a photo on Pinterest of one just like it and I showed our decorator. She found a place to buy the arch online and she rented it to us. For my garter, I knew I wanted something cute my husband would love. He is a sports fan so I looked on Pinterest for sports themed garters. The shirt, pillows and bags I found when I was looking for gift ideas for my bride's man, flower girls and bridesmaids. I had shown our decorator/florist ideas for my bouquets, but unfortunately my bouquets ended up looking nothing like what I wanted.

I loveee Pinterest! I have an album or two for wedding related stuff. I would definitely use Pinterest for inspiration!

Also getting married in October and wanted to incorporate mums because they’re pretty affordable. So on stage flanking us will be displays of 3 mums with at least one up on a log/tree-cutting.

I have so much on my Pinterest board. I love that they created the Sections option, so I have everything sorted. Flowers, Engagement photos, wedding photos, bridal party attire, reception food, reception decor. And I know I have more too but not going down that rabbit hole right now. My favorite thing to look for are cheap DIYs. Love seeing what cool idea I can get from my dollar store trips. I’ve also been looking for more and more ways to incorporate Enchanted Forest theme.

I found funny ceremony programs on pinterest that I want to use! We're a very sarcastic, joking couple so we wanted to incorporate it somehow into the day and the funny programs will let us do that for the ceremony!

Basically we started with an idea for colors and that we wanted some natural elements such as ferns, etc but it grew in terms of color palette and theme after Pinterest.
