Favors - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

Nice to have! We decided against favors.

I plan to have them, bit they aren't necessary. It adds up to a chunk of you budget if you decide to do them, and many people to care for/remember to take them home.

They are a “nice to have”. I had little jars of honey and not even one was left

My mom says need, I say nice. We will probably do them.

Our favor for our guests is the free food and alcohol we're serving them! Lol

Nice to have, as they are a small thank you for coming and celebrating with us

Nice to have. Our guests are getting wands handmade by yours truly, which are also for use during the reception. It’s a Harry Potter themed wedding, so it’s fitting. But if it wasn’t a themed wedding they wouldn’t be getting a favor since they’re usually so expensive.

Like everything else, it is nice to have. I think the party itself is enough of a gift for your guests. (Your hotel, your food, your drinks, etc.) but it doesn't take much time nor money to DIY nice gifts for people For us, it's a yes.

Nice to have. We’re planning on making a donation to a charity and leaving a card explaining it on the table in lieu of actual favors.

Nice to have if you have them in the budget. We're still on the fence. If we do have them they'll be something edible like mini apple pies

I love them! I'm having a fall wedding so making up a s'more mix - teddy grahams, M&Ms and mini marshmallows.
