I was wondering what the other brides are doing for wedding favors. I have no idea what to do

Of course, they are not "necessary", but they are a nice thoughtful way of saying "Thank you!" They can really add fun to your reception, too! Just put some creative thought into making it a favor that will be fun and enjoyable. You don't have to spend a ton of money on them. We are doing lotto scratchers. It only costs a couple of bucks each for the scratchers that pay up to $20,000. Because my fiance and I are travelers, we are putting them in little boxes that look like vintage suitcases. ($10 for 20 boxes on Amazon). We are displaying them with signs that say "Please take a suitcase." "We hope our special day will be your lucky day! Imagine the places you'd go!" For the signs, I'm just making large cards on Zazzle. $3.00 each, we only need one of each design. (I posted my designs here). Everyone loves scratchers! Imagine if one of our friends or family members wins!

Possibly little small bags with Kisses and Hugs in them, but most likely not even that. We’ll probably be taking the money we would have spent on them and donating to an animal shelter in dedication to our guests.

If we do favors we will probably do a chocolate bar with a custom label or cookies/chocolate covered pretzels/etc. Something edible.

We will also have a good amount of people stay over at the hotel so we will be making welcome bags for each couple that they will receive upon check in. Waters, snacks, candies, aspirin, etc.

Our photobooth creates flipbooks and we're using those as favors. You can also make a donation to you favorite charity and print out little cards telling your guests that a donation was made in their honor.

I’m buying champagne glasses and adding their names to them in gold vinyl. It will serve two purpose. One as the thank you gift and two as the place setting at the table. And it will only end up costing me like a $1.25 a person. It will be more of my time though. Luckily I’ll only have like 60 guests and a couple of my bridesmaids are crafters too!

Unless it’s food or booze, I think favors are a waste. My best suggestion is to post a sign saying in lieu of favors you made a donation to your favorite charity. This could be any amount of your choosing while saving you a ton of money.

My fiancé LOVES tea so our current idea is to do bags of tea and honey sticks. Our wedding is in November so hot tea would be appropriate.

Who knows though, he keeps coming up with new ideas so it’s not 100% yet.

We're both popcorn lovers. So we're ordering
Mini bags from my favorite company. Thought about Candy table also.
