Hey y’all!!! Me & my FH are leaning towards a rustic nov wedding and i cant for the life of me figure out what to give out as a favor… we don’t want anything that’ll just get thrown away or lost but we also don’t want it to be “to much” or “tacky” any ideas ????

You can skip them entirely and they won't be missed. We are having jars of honey for ours

We originally considered getting mason jars that have chalkboard paint on them for everyone to use throughout the night and then take home, but instead decided on having a late night popcorn bar which we're considering as "favors" because everyone can take a bag home with them!

We did donuts as favors, all but 6 donuts left the reception. Maybe do a candy bar or like someone else said, you can literally just skip them. My brother got married 6 years ago and I just found the shot glass he gave out when we were moving 2 weeks ago lol. I don't even remember taking a shot glass. It also did not make sense (now that I think about it) that they gave out shot glasses because it was a dry reception lol. Do what is best for you guys and your budget.

I would recommend either doing something edible or skipping favors entirely. As a guest, I almost always take the favor when it's edible and leave it behind when it's not edible. For a rustic wedding, little jars of honey sound like a great idea

Something edible is a nice touch. We're doing homemade cookies for our favors.

We are doing a candy bar with bags that guests can use to take some home since ours is on Oct 31. I think many people forego favors nowadays because its just random knick knacks that are an unnecessary expense.

We are getting married in November, and because it will most likely be chilly outside, we are giving blankets for the guests. We figured any that don't go we will donate to an animal shelter, but people can kind of always use some blankets!

I have my own candle business, so we are doing candles for our guest. Its a Dec wedding so I am doing one holiday themed scent and one that is more neutral. The vessels I am using are reusable for other things so to me its a win win.
