FH and I, along with roughly half our guest list, are musicians. When it comes to wedding favors, we're thinking of having 2 together (nothing extravagant). Have you seen where you can get m&ms in your wedding colors with cute little pictures on them? I'm thinking about getting those in a small box and putting FH's pick (a ha- pun intended 🤣) on top of the box with thin ribbon around the set. What do you think? Favors 1

Sounds fun and unique!
As others have said, though, those M&Ms are expensive - DH and I sourced them, and ended up skipping favors entirely, because of cost.
Do also keep in mind the amount of time it will take to secure the picks and pack the boxes.

We did M&M's at our wedding. They are not that expensive. Actually, if you buy in bulk, they are fairly inexpensive. Just buy your own packaging instead of theirs.
The guitar pick is a cute idea, but for someone like myself, it would be a waste. I would never use something like that and it would get lost pretty quickly. At least the M&M's will be eaten.

I can’t comment on the cost of m&ms but they are cute and everyone loves a favor they can eat. The guitar picks are also very cute but of course won’t be used by a lot of people. You said about half your guest list are musicians which will cover a lot of people, but I’m sure not everyone in the crowd plays guitar or would like that type of pick. Cute idea though, I just wouldn’t spend too much knowing a fair amount won’t get used.

Our guest list is only 55 people, so I'm not terribly concerned about it being a waste. In the end, the whole box of picks was $25 and FH and our middle daughter will use the left over ones for guitar practice 😊 really just hoped it would be cute and very "us", of that makes sense LOL thank you for your input! 💜

Thanks 😊😊😊 I ordered little boxes from amazon. The picks are 100ct for $25, and our guest list is only 55 people (2nd wedding for both of us). FH and our middle daughter will use the left over ones til they break. It was just more "us" than some of the other things we had seen, and it's nice that he has opinions, so this was one of those things that I appreciated him weighing in on LOL 💜

It is always nice when your fiance participates in planning! So I think it is nice that he gave an opinion and got his way ! They are a cute and personal idea for sure!
