Any Feb 2021 weddings out there? How are you all handling it? For us the stress has been horrible. I work in healthcare and see first hand what covid is doing. We’re stuck between cutting the list to 30-50 or moving the date which we are very against doing. We live in a northern state so outside...

We’re stuck between cutting the list to 30-50 or moving the date which we are very against doing. We live in a northern state so outside wedding is not really a possibility. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Hey! We decided to do 40 people in person with masks and have an on-site thermometer. The rest of the guest list we invited to Zoom. As much as we have to compromise, it's worth it. We didn't want to reschedule, and this way, we're safe, but still enjoy the big day, when we originally planned to.

Wedding is 2/13/21. We have downsized to a micro wedding with more people dropping off every day. We wont want to wait because we have plans to buy a house and start a family. Its been really sad and really hard, but we keep trying to remember that in the end we will be married and that's all that really truly matters.

I’m in the same exact boat with our venue under construction and older family members travelling, we just pushed our date back to July, in Florida 😅

I’ll be over on the other coast in west palm area, we ended up pushing our date back to July since my side of the family will be traveling. It will be hot but hopefully the pandemic will be behind us by then😅

I know, but I understand why they won't. Right now, they don't have any restrictions, so if we would want to cancel/ reschedule, it's on us. Both my fiancé and I are of the mindset that even if we did reschedule, how far do we push it off? When we booked our date, we honestly thought COVID would have blown over by February. We have no idea how much longer this will go on and just want to be married. Whoever shows up is fine with us. I can't stress out about people not coming. It's out of my control and as long as there are no crazy restrictions here in FL, the show must go on.

We are getting married on 2/13 at our church and our guests have the option to come in a mask or watch via LiveStream. We moved our reception to August! Not what we hoped when we first booked this in April, but still so excited to get married in February!

We are having something small, with just immediate family this year and then having the ceremony and reception on our 1 year anniversary. We didn't want to cha ge the date but also didn't want to have to cut our list or have it be boring (no dancing). Plus we had so many deposits that we didn't want to lose. A February weddong in the north east has to be indoors!

As of now, we are still keeping our 2/13/21 date! However, I will say, this has been the most stressful 2-3 weeks of my life, going back and forth on postponing or not. We live in TN where the restrictions aren't as strict, so our venue hasn't had any issues yet. However, we have a lot of family who would be traveling in and are no longer coming. It's really hard to imagine some of our family and close friends not attending, which makes me want to postpone. But then I think about the fact that we want to move on with our life, and my fiance has a deployment coming up this summer, so it's basically we have the wedding with more precautions and less people, or wait another year. So stressful, I feel for all of us going through these decisions right now.

We still have our date set for February 27th. It’ll be outside of our favorite bar.
