Hi! We were able to reschedule for February. Our date is 02/02/2022. I pray we finally have our dream wedding. We are now eloping to Jamaica and doing everything at the beautiful Sandals Royal Plantation resort. I didn't want a beach wedding because it doesn't fit our theme and my gown is not sand appropriate ( I can see my train just dragging sand with it like a wake on a boat. Lol!). We will marry in a Victorian style Gazebo that is on a terrace that juts out towards the ocean. Our theme is Victorian, obviously. My gown is a very full pale blush ballgown in a shade named pink champagne. Since we are now going to Jamaica, we went with real touch flowers instead of real. I'll attach our color palette. I've attached pics of my gown, our venue, color palette, custom invitations, my day of wedding purse, my Groom's attire, our cake topper ( we now have two other fur babies, but the topper people are closed), my day of makeup look, and I can't remember what else. I'm recovering from covid if I'm a bit slow on replies. I just wanted you to know you aren't being ignored. I'm still sleeping about 16 hours a day.

What is your theme? Where are you getting married? Have you had to reschedule? What are your colors? What do plan on having your bouquet and boutonnière's look like? I'd love to see gown pics if anyone is willing to share. At this point my gown is no longer top secret. ha ha How are you wearing your hair? Please share anything you wish.
We are all getting close to that 90 day mark and I'm getting nervous. I still have my veil to finish. So much was put on the back burner with us having to reschedule and then my having a severe case of covid. I look forward to meeting each of you. 🥰❤

And last but not least my two piece halter skirt set. They all mix and match. Which should I wear on my wedding night? Just want opinions. ❤February 2022 Brides and Grooms....let's chat!! 1

I've also bought magnetic false eyelashes. I'm not going to have a MUA or hairstylist, now. Most brunette's are complaining that the brown are 'too red'...sounds perfect to me.

Your dress and plans sound wonderful! I think in many ways it will be such a relief to just.. be married and be able to focus on your recovery and look forward to your retie the knot ceremony without as much stress.

Can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful day.

Awwwww...thank you, Rosie! We are both so excited. Just so much to do this week. This week is already flying by. I hope we get some really good pics. It may rain, so I've ordered umbrellas just in case. I can always send them back. I just hope I can do something with my hair. ha ha I had planned on having everything done for me.

Could you go to a local salon and have them do something for you? I'm sure whatever you do will look just beautiful!

I have a fabulous hairstylist in my small town. We are rather isolated. I just don't know if she is already booked. I will ask her. I have an appointment with her on Thursday. I'll definitely be doing my make-up. Thank God I just invested in another set of nice brushes. My old ones are worn out. You are so sweet.

You know you are right. Doing it this way does gives me time to heal and while a crazy week, is still taking the pressure off. Not so fancy and busy as our other plans. xoxo

In case nobody's shown him any love yet - props to the groom too for the classic attire!

Guess what? We both have the flu! 😱 So we'll definitely be together for Christmas, just not as husband and wife. We are trying to reschedule for early January, before the 6th, so it'll still be the Christmas season. You know, the 12 Days of Christmas. ha ha

I feel so sorry for our Christmas winter brides in the Southeastern US. On Christmas Eve it'll be 78 F, or 26 C, and Christmas Day it'll be 80 F, or 27 C! Way too hot for Winter. Our normal daytime high for this time of year is 59 F, or 15 C. Huge difference. Going to have alot of sweaty people. At least it's not going to rain. 😊

Oh no! I was thinking of you yesterday and thinking that you were getting married so I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. I hope you are all better soon and can do the wedding when you want to in January. I hope the weather gets better for you as well. Merry Christmas to you too Smiley smile

I'm so sorry. You must be dreadfully disappointed. I hope your date on the 6th can go ahead instead... goodness, what a time we've had!

Wishing you a speedy recovery and a very merry and safe Christmas and New Years.

I know. It seems like fate is trying to keep us from getting married, but we will. I just want to marry by the 6th so the wording on our announcements do not need to be changed. We have our mini-moon booked, again. A lovely suite, so we just need to get well.

Yes, no flannel PJ'S for me this Christmas. We'll be in summer clothes. ha ha
I'll keep you all updated. I pray you have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year!! Take care, Fiona. ❤

Thank you, Rosie. We'll make it. I'm the eternal optimist. ha ha I always see the good, or try to. We are trying for the 3rd or the 4th. Our photographer is available until the 6th. I think if everyone is flexible we'll be married by Epiphany (January 6th), which is our absolute deadline. Have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I'll keep you all informed.
