Hi! We were able to reschedule for February. Our date is 02/02/2022. I pray we finally have our dream wedding. We are now eloping to Jamaica and doing everything at the beautiful Sandals Royal Plantation resort. I didn't want a beach wedding because it doesn't fit our theme and my gown is not sand appropriate ( I can see my train just dragging sand with it like a wake on a boat. Lol!). We will marry in a Victorian style Gazebo that is on a terrace that juts out towards the ocean. Our theme is Victorian, obviously. My gown is a very full pale blush ballgown in a shade named pink champagne. Since we are now going to Jamaica, we went with real touch flowers instead of real. I'll attach our color palette. I've attached pics of my gown, our venue, color palette, custom invitations, my day of wedding purse, my Groom's attire, our cake topper ( we now have two other fur babies, but the topper people are closed), my day of makeup look, and I can't remember what else. I'm recovering from covid if I'm a bit slow on replies. I just wanted you to know you aren't being ignored. I'm still sleeping about 16 hours a day.

What is your theme? Where are you getting married? Have you had to reschedule? What are your colors? What do plan on having your bouquet and boutonnière's look like? I'd love to see gown pics if anyone is willing to share. At this point my gown is no longer top secret. ha ha How are you wearing your hair? Please share anything you wish.
We are all getting close to that 90 day mark and I'm getting nervous. I still have my veil to finish. So much was put on the back burner with us having to reschedule and then my having a severe case of covid. I look forward to meeting each of you. 🥰❤

We are both having health issues. Mine stem from covid after-effects and his, a medical condition that has worsened. Not really setting a new date right now. It's more important to be healthy. We will have a quiet ceremony as soon as possible. I'll keep you all updated. February is getting close. I know everyone is getting excited!! ❤ xoxo

I'm sorry. That is very hard!

We are 50 days out today. We postponed at 49 days last time, and our state premier has just announced today that they are introducing new restrictions again to deal with omicron. We don't know what they'll be just yet but it's giving me flashbacks. Just hoping everything will be ok!

So does this mean that tomorrow the 6th is not going to happen either? I am thinking of you and I hope that you are able to do it soon and that you feel better soon as well.

Please forgive me. I may have implied we were trying for January 6th, but we had just hoped to be married by today. Today was Epiphany and the 12th day of Christmas. So we'll have to have our announcements/invitations reworded as we had them worded that we were married during the Christmas season. I found out this afternoon that I have bronchitis, but I'm also going to test for covid. I have an at home test, if I can find it. I'm not feeling well at all. So now we wait. Montgomery is going to see a specialist and under go testing. I can't wait for is too be husband and wife.

Oh! Just had to share because I forgot with the date changes. Ugh! Each of my custom lingerie items are TO DIE FOR!! I'm absolutely thrilled with the fit, fabric, and quality. I feel like they were made fit a vintage princess. Just absolutely lovely!! She did an outstanding job. Eventually, I'll order more. My backless lace gown is lined in a champagne satin, but in actuality it has a very pale peach tint. Like a candlelight color shining through the lace. Definitely want to get more items in that fabric. Pups are asleep and it's bedtime. xoxo

Aww, thank you so much! Good news! The new restrictions are supposed to be in place until the 27th of Jan and will not impact weddings. I just hope as we move closer they don't change that!

How otherwise are we all doing? my hen's is this saturday, assuming that things don't change too much between now and then or anyone catches covid! I'm being very cautious, other than going to the gym - and I'm very torn about whether or not to continue going, but my alterations lady took my dress in very tight - more than we measured, and while I was surprised it fit at all, ideally I'd like it to be just a fraction looser than it is now. Breathing would be nice, lol!

Hi Rosie!! My apologies I've not checked in. Covid left me with all sorts of after-effects. Fighting respiratory infections and a UTI. Don't know exactly how I received all of that from covid, but I did. Crazy. How was the Hen? Love to see pics!!

Please be careful. Your date is getting so close. Hope your gown fits exactly the way you wish, now. So excited for you. Your day is almost here!! xoxo

Ok, I think everyone knows I'd not had my engagement ring yet? Montgomery's Grandmother's Victorian cut 10 carat Jubilee diamond engagement ring was promised to me? Well, his sister has it, knowing it was meant for me, and won't give it back. So for my birthday last month he surprised me with this 4 carat beauty. I honestly wouldn't have wanted a larger stone. I love that it looks vintage, is the color of Caribbean water, and I just wear it in bed and watch it sparkle. ha ha Anyway, I wanted to share. Oh! I think it's ugly in the pics. So much prettier in person.

The pics won't upload. Bummer. I'll come back soon to show. I know I've had trouble posting in the past.

Not at all!! I've been wondering how you were doing, and hoping you were well. I'm so sorry to hear of all these covid-related symptoms you've been suffering, how awful - I hope you are now on the mend and getting better every day!

The hens was so good! It was so PINK! My lovely sister and sister-in-law-to-be were absolute angels. They took me for one cocktail just the three of us to settle our nerves, and gave me a flower crown and a personalised sash. Then, we met everyone else for high tea! My mother in law and my other sister in law (bless them) had organised little bags for everyone with personalized cookies (pink!) and also a personalized water glass and champagne flute for me! It was such a lovely time and so much fun seeing how everyone had interpreted the pink theme! here are some pics - this is my sister and I!

I'm actually picking my dress up today, assuming everything is ok! I'm nervous and excited, and just hoping she hasn't forgot to make my veil (she forgot last time!) We are 16 days out, and after this weekend will be hermitting ourselves as much as possible and only doing things that are necessary/unavoidable as much as possible!
