Hi! We were able to reschedule for February. Our date is 02/02/2022. I pray we finally have our dream wedding. We are now eloping to Jamaica and doing everything at the beautiful Sandals Royal Plantation resort. I didn't want a beach wedding because it doesn't fit our theme and my gown is not sand appropriate ( I can see my train just dragging sand with it like a wake on a boat. Lol!). We will marry in a Victorian style Gazebo that is on a terrace that juts out towards the ocean. Our theme is Victorian, obviously. My gown is a very full pale blush ballgown in a shade named pink champagne. Since we are now going to Jamaica, we went with real touch flowers instead of real. I'll attach our color palette. I've attached pics of my gown, our venue, color palette, custom invitations, my day of wedding purse, my Groom's attire, our cake topper ( we now have two other fur babies, but the topper people are closed), my day of makeup look, and I can't remember what else. I'm recovering from covid if I'm a bit slow on replies. I just wanted you to know you aren't being ignored. I'm still sleeping about 16 hours a day.

What is your theme? Where are you getting married? Have you had to reschedule? What are your colors? What do plan on having your bouquet and boutonnière's look like? I'd love to see gown pics if anyone is willing to share. At this point my gown is no longer top secret. ha ha How are you wearing your hair? Please share anything you wish.
We are all getting close to that 90 day mark and I'm getting nervous. I still have my veil to finish. So much was put on the back burner with us having to reschedule and then my having a severe case of covid. I look forward to meeting each of you. 🥰❤

You have 4 colour choices to choose from, but , as you say, why take chances? A friend of mine bought one and was very pleased, but I feel better bring colors I know will look good on me. I'm even bringing my Ginger Auburn Mascara. Not leaving anything to chance. HA! HA!

Sorry, I totally didn't answer your question. I bought the shades the model is wearing. I feel they will be perfect!! At least I hope so. Need to look at them again. ❤

Yes I do think it’s more me! But I feel lucky that I can choose what to do closer to the time… I don’t need to decide now! I just hope there’s enough petticoats underneath to get the fullness I want!

I am excited, but extremely worried I won't get everything done. Covid has put our plans way behind schedule. I pray I can pull it all together in time.

Ha! Ha! VERY well put! It'll mostly be an illusion as I move, like a belly dancers skirt way back when. Lol!

You can decide later, which is amazing!! Just do want you want so you have no regrets after your wedding.

I pray she gets the petticoats the thickness you want, too. I'm sure she will since you've explained you want a 'cupcake' silhouette. That's plain to me aka VERY, VERY FULL!! Have you seen the movie CINDERELLA with Lily James? Look at her blue ballgown. It's extremely full. You could always show your seamstress that gown as the similar fullness. Just a thought.

How are people going this week? We sent our invites out on Saturday and already have a 58% response rate! only 4 of our 120 guests have declined so far, which is so exciting!

Hi Rosie!! We won't send invites yet, but your response rate is phenomenal. Everyone must wish to attend your wedding!! Yay!! I wish I could. ha ha I'm so excited for you. Just double checking, do you have 120 guests or did you mail 120 invitations? I'm sure if you say 120 guests, that's what you mean. We have 150 invitations going out, but most live far away and we know will not be able to attend.

Good week so far! As you know we are heading into winter and it's getting chilly. It was freezing this morning. I don't like it that cold!!

Fiona, I am!!❤😊 We are at 70 days!! I'm just realizing what a drain my sweet puppy is on me, though. While I'm recuperating, I may take him to doggie day care so Mommy can get more rest. Isn't that terrible? Plus I have a veil to finish. Time is passing too quickly!!

Haha, we'd love to have you! If only we could appear and disappear rather than go on long flights.. how much more enjoyable travel might be!

Sorry, I meant 120 invitations. We are expecting about 100-110 guests to actually accept.. there are a few people with new babies and some who are interstate ... our country's state governments are not super friendly with each other and keep changing the rules about how long or whether you need to quarantine to visit, whether you'd be able to easily get back to your home state, etc, so completely understandable not everyone will attend in person!

It's also cool here! Apparently it is a La Nina summer for us, so cold and wet. The only plus side... The sleeves might be the right call after all!
