Feed your vendors

It's actually written in our photographer's contract that we will feed them!! I would do so anyway, as, hello, they are working through normal dinner time !!. Ugh. We also are feeding the DJ, the caricaturist and the palm reader. I just think it's common decency.

I agree with Pat - it's common decency to feed people - especially those who will be with you all day. We fed all of our vendors who were there at dinner and offered food to the ones who were with us for part of the day (for example, food came out while the MUA was there, so we told her she should have some too).

I read that article and I can't believe they were so rude! What's worse is that the photographer was a friend who was only charging a couple hundred dollars. I know weddings are expensive, but that doesn't mean all human decency goes out the window. I am including every person with every vendor. I will also have boxes for leftover food and cake if there are leftovers, first come first served.

We actually just went through our vendor list today, to discuss who would be someone we'd need to provide a meal for.

We’re providing a meal for all of our vendors, regardless if they have it in their contract or not. I feel it’s the polite thing to do

Yes, same for us, we decided to feed them and even to put them at the table with guests. Our vendors didn't have that in their contract, but we met a lot of photographers that did... For french people eating at one precise hour is an obsession, life stops at that moment...
