Feeling terrible about my body in my dress! Wedding is in 6 days.

Alright, since you can't wear shape wear ( which is the most horribly uncomfortable garment known to man) Im going to say make sure your intestines are empty because, gross I know, that's what you're seeing. Have a glass of wine, get all dolled up and that bulge will be the LAST thing on your mind. And, if its not, another glass if wine won't hurt.

The dress looks good on you in my opinion... I don't see no rolls...

Dress looks amazing on you and you look amazing in that dress! I hope you find something that will help you feel comfortable...but no one else is thinking/ seeing what you are!!! Your going to be a beautiful bride!

I think you look great! That said, if you're worried, I would hold your bouquet in front of your stomach for pictures/walking down the aisle. We were turned slightly towards the officiate during our ceremony, you could do that as well to show off the back.

But seriously, I think you look wonderful in that dress!

I'm sorry you don't feel good in your dress. It honestly looks great. I don't see what you are seeing. Maybe it's the pic that is not showing us what you see. I have a tiny pooch that I'm extremely uncomfortable about so I get how you feel. I think that dress look beautiful on you.

Also, not sure if this helps or not, but I actually GAINED weight before my wedding. I wanted to lose 20 lbs, but I gained 20 lbs instead! I was 40 lbs bigger than I wanted to be (thank god for corset backs). And you know what? I just didn't care on my wedding day. At all. I was too caught up in the moment. My pictures are great too, all you see is how happy I was.

Again, I think you look great. Just something else to consider

I am 5 ft and weigh 123, that sounds small but it isnt. I wear a size 9, which imo is wide. i have a pooch and my fiance accepts me for that. I had a pooch when i met him. my dress is an a line, however it still shows my under arm fat and somewhat shows my back fat, but i dont car bc this is me and who i am. u look stunning imo.

You honestly look amazing. Like you said, the back is particularly gorgeous and looks perfect. And guess what: that's the part people will mostly be seeing during the ceremony, since you will have your back to them for the most part! Perfect!

Even though you do feel comfortable in some clothing versus others, I think there is some grain of truth into what your friends are saying. I didn't see any "belly roll" and from what the other ladies have written, I don't think they did, either. And I guarantee you that FH won't see any such thing!! He's just going to see his beautiful bride in a gorgeous dress.

I completely understand where your coming from, YOU want to feel good in your dress. You look amazing in it though. I have a friend who is the tinniest thing, she still have a little belly from having 5 kids though. She was freaking out over her wedding dress because she could see that "roll/belly" but me and a mutual friend couldn't see it at all. Take a deep breath and like someone else suggested a glass of wine :-) Your going to make a beautiful bride :-)

I understand how you feel too. When I put on my wedding dress I said "The dress is amazing, but I don't feel like this is the best version on me". I think that is how you are feeling now. It's not about what we see, it's about how you feel.

I got shapewear that had a extra front panel, so that it flattens my tummy, which really helped. It's all about finding the RIGHT shapewear. Take a satin slip with you thats really unforgiving, and you'll find the right thing, rather than buying lots of stuff.

Also, I agree that removing the belt and adding something at the shoulder or bust line is a great idea, as it will elongate your torso. I like the idea of a round brooch on the seam at the bust.

BTW, I think you look wonderful in your dress, and SUPER congratulations for loosing so much weight. I was meant to loose 5kgs, and put on 1kg with all the stress.

It seems like we don't see what you see. The dress shows off your gorgeous new figure!

In order to love how you look in that dress, you need to love you. No dress is going to change that. I think you've gotten some great advice on shapewear and small alterations. Try them out and see what you think.

I guess I'm stuggling with my "new" body, and feels like i'm still in my old body. I can see the scale drop, or the size change, but never really feel any thinner.

I have always suffered from body image problems, in fact i change probably 10 times each day before i leave my house.

I just want to feel incredible at my wedding. I like the advice about the flower bouquet, i totally forgot i have something in front of me.

Tomorrow I'm going to take my last trip to DB to see if I can get something to wear underneath. I got the dress at Kleinfield in NYC, and the lady kept telling me I didn't need under garments, but i do. It's literally all I see.

I just hope that i'm oozing with happiness on the day, and that this worry of mine will be gone once I walk down that aisle.

OMG! I thought the dress you posted was the model wearing it, I was not expecting to see that body from your description. I promise you, you look beautiful! And we wouldnt lie to you
