fh dislikes hair trial

Just had my hair trial where I did a deep side part and hair behind one ear with loose curls... similar to the picture but without the hair comb. I thought it looked great until I asked for my FH’s opinion. He says it’s weird that one ear is showing and I told him it was the style. He asked if there was another style I could try out or not tuck the hair behind the ear. I want my earrings to show. He basically said he thinks I’m trying to be someone I’m not and I was so confused because it’s really not that far off from my “style”... I think his biggest issue was the deep side part. I got really upset and now feel lost as to what I should go with. Should I do less of a deep part? Do I do another trial or just wing it on the wedding day? Maybe I shouldn’t have asked for his opinion... but I actually cried because I was hoping he’d like it.

I think you should have it however makes you feel beautiful! It may be hard for him to see the bigger picture of you having a fancier hair style with a wedding dress and all dolled up. Once you're walking down the aisle I dont think hell care if your hair is a few more inches to the side than normal. Good luck!

I think it looks great. Classic and beautiful. Ask him to find a hairstyle for you to try, but ultimately, go with what you love.

I love that style!!! I think it wouldn't hurt to do another trial IF there's any other style you'd personally wanna try

I'm not going to ask my fiance his opinion for anything haha so your fiance is lucky you asked! haha With that being said.. I looove this hair style! It looks great on a wedding day! And I agree.. when you're walking down the aisle he's not going to be staring at your hair.. Do what makes you feel beautiful 😊

I say keep it! It looks beautiful on you and obviously made you feel confident. The least your FH can do is respect and support your confidence

I didn’t show anyone my hair trial or my dress because I didn’t want others opinions. Do what makes you feel good.

This is exactly what I’m going to do for my hairstyle! I’m not asking my fiancé’s opinion lol. It could also be hard for him to envision it all together, but I guarantee the day of he’ll forget his original opinion on it! Do what makes you feel beautiful!

Take his opinion with a grain of salt. Men don't really know how to envision the big picture, so maybe he just doesn't get it yet. But I'd sleep on it. Look at other styles, maybe even try them. If this comes back as your favorite, then wear it! And feel good about it But I'm the kinda girl that takes my FH's opinion into deep consideration as well, which is commonly shamed these days. But if my FH really didn't like something, it'd probably end up as a turn off for me too. Because this is OUR big day, not mine, not his... But ours. So I want to be his beautiful bride just as much as I want to be a beautiful bride for me. There is no shame in your style being a joint decision. Do what makes you feel best in all regards.
