I'm not sure of the rules either, but in may case. I ordered all of his stuff for him. I did makesure he liked it first though.

I would shop with him. Just incase you need to guide him!! Like my man didn't have a preference between an off white shirt and a white shirt, BUT I DID!


Plus it's great to see it in person. See the color and texture. Because the actual suit won't be in for a long time and you may need to (1) coordinate socks or watches if you're doing gifts, or (2) you may want to guide you dad so he doesn't clash or (3) pick out something at TJ Maxx for the ring bear. I like to see and touch and then, when it's all picked out, take a photo of it at the store!

I went with my husband to get measured for his tux rental and help choose the tux style. We also chose the ones for the groomsmen at the same time, so I brought a swatch of the bridesmaids' dresses to make sure the color combo worked

There's no set rules on whether or not you could or should go. I only went with my fiance and his boys cause he asked me to. He's not too sharp on fashion and he just wanted my opinion on if everything would have looked good together.

We're doing this super last-minute, (which is unlike me - this was the one thing I put FH in charge of lol) but I'll be going with him. At the appointment, they're also going to go over info for the groomsmen, and I feel like I need to be there for those logistical details.

I went with him and pretty much picked everything out. I asked for his opinion and wanted to make sure he liked everything I picked out. They asked me what my dress color was so they could make sure his shirt matched. Something he would have had no idea about.

I went with mine. I know what my dress looks like, and he doesn’t, so I helped make sure it all coordinated! Ask what he prefers, but It’s totally up to you both.

It's up to you! I went with him for the first appointment and we picked out the outfits for the guys. He will be wearing something different and slightly custom so I gave the associate he will be working with details on my dress to make sure we match and I won't be seeing the full outfit until the day of during our first look. Considering he has actually picked outfits for me that I have loved I'm really excited to see his vision for himself come to life
