Fiancé(e) Friday! Love at first sight, or not quite? 😍

When I first met my Fiance we instantly hit it off. I left thinking wow I talked his head off which is very unusual for me. I have always been so quite around people especially men but I left knowing that he was going to be super important to me. I didn't think at the time we would be getting married a year and a half later but here we are. He's the one person that I can be my complete self around other than my family.

I honestly didn’t notice him. We both got hired at the same company and the day of orientation we were in the same training room. We all had to get up and talk about what we like and such and he said he noticed me that day. I had a boyfriend at the time and it was maybe a year or two later until we actually started talking that he told me he always had eyes for me. The moment I met him, I knew. It was just such a strong feeling of being home and I never wanted to talk to another man again after him.

Love at first sight! My thoughts were he was handsome and seemed very mature for his age. Locked him down because I knew he was the one! 💁🏼‍♀️

It was not love at first sight. I met him when he was my temporary trainer at work (my actual trainer wasn't able to make it in due to a blizzard). We kinda chatted, and he told me how he was just getting divorced. He did seem like a bit of a player, he didn't strike me as someone looking for anything particularly serious. (It turns out he made a bet with his friends that he could get me to sleep with him on the 1st date... he lost). We didn't get together for about 4 months after we first met.

Lust at first sight then we grew on each other

We met on a double date! My first impression was that he was cute, funny, and very much the guy that likes to watch what other people are doing; kind of like me! I'm a huge people watcher (not in the creepy way!) - we became fast friends and I tried so hard to keep him there!!! He was just an amazing friend to me and I always found a way to ruin it...I didn't want to date this amazing friend I had made and ruin it and lose him forever. He spent MONTHS trying to prove to me that this wasn't just a fling for him. After a while I gave him and let him take me out, and 3.5 years later, here we are

For him it was love at first sight. For me it was a strong like. He is a man that I prayed to God for. He has a big loving heart ❤️
