Fibonacci Day - how to include it in decorations?

Ada, on July 23, 2019 at 11:44 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
My fiancé and I are a little nerdy and excited that our date happens to land on Fibonacci Day (11/23). We thought it would be fun to try to work in some Fibonacci inspired patterns or items into our decor (and maybe make a scavenger hunt list for the kids at the reception). Any ideas of how to work Fibonacci sequences and golden ratios into the decorations?

I think I might try to go geometric, and do something like using the nested golden rectangle pattern as a backdrop for things like table numbers or signs. You could also do a backdrop of flowers or even macramé strands with flowers or knots spaced out in a Fibonacci sequence.

You could also do your ceremony space in a spiral. Saw this on pinterest.

I'd try to work Fibonacci spirals into your centerpieces - maybe with shells? And then find flowers that show off the sequence as well. I thought this article was kind of fun: https://www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk/fibonacci-numbers-secret-formula-flowers
