No one, I've cut everyone but my mother, father, sister and grandmother, BFF and true friends. It's quite freeing

Honestly, since we’re having our wedding out of town, most of the people I would prefer not be there (because of the drama they bring with them) aren’t coming. I’m blessed!

My step moms mother. She hates my dad which means she hates me by association. I know she won’t come but if I don’t invite her she’ll act like she would have and hate us even more. I would rather keep her invitation and use it in my shadow box

The “we have to invite because they are family” people. So far, those same people are all that have declined...and they didn’t attend the other three weddings for FHs siblings.

My father. I want him there because he is my dad, but as my mom puts it "he is my problem" which is awful but true. He's going to be my responsibility and it's stressful to even think about. He is a struggling alcoholic and tends to not do so well when things aren't about him, so I can expect at least 3 tantrums, a relapse, and probably him deciding to stop again drinking and go through withdrawal a couple days before the wedding starts.... I want him there because part of me is still that little girl with the twinkle in her eye who loves her daddy... But the adult in me want him to say he can't come...

My hubby has a male friend who is just.....not my type, lol. We invited him and a plus one and guess what? He showed up alone and was the most pleasant guest out there. So ya never know!!!

I was also afraid my mom would bring my mom's ashes in an urn........(she didn't.)

....Every single one of my cousins, just for wanting to invite *some* of my cousins. I love all of them, but there are sooooo many (Irish catholic family) that I can't even keep all of their names straight! I do want to invite the ones I grew up being close to, but they are all technically on the same "tier." What a mess.
