There’s nobody on our guest list I wish I didn’t have to invite. We’re having a relatively small wedding (around 50 people total), so anybody I don’t want to invite, isn’t invited. My fmil is inviting a few people, but I don’t mind because she’s helped out, and is continuing to help out, as much as she possibly can.

I wish I didn’t have to invite my mothers parents, or really any of her family. They’re very wealthy people and have to have the best of the best which is the total opposite of our wedding theme. We’re having a barn rustic wedding and in their eyes as classy as we can make it it will still be considered “redneck”. 🙄

I know how that goes...I have 11 first cousins and 27 second cousins on the Irish side (dad was the youngest of 6...) What are the chances the more distant ones will decline (with love, of course)?

FFIL, FSMIL, My second cousin (just one out of 5) and his kid, kids in general, i'm sure there are more I cant think of right now.

I am however choosing not to invite my biological father or any of his friends and once I have a talk with my aunt, her husband won't be on the guest list either.

I’m not going to invite anyone I don’t want to so I don’t think I’ll have this problem! At least I hope not!

I’m the same way. Her and I don’t get along at all. Only times she wants to talk to me is when she wants to know where her son is...

I wish I didn’t have to invite my sister’s boyfriend. Not only is he a registered sex offender but he’s also really racist. 😕

My grandfather! Moms dad he insisted that he walk me down the aisle and "give me away" were not that close and I NEVER asked him to do that. Told him No way! Now he is being manipulative to the point where nobody wants to be around him.
Thinking he will just get a seat at the kids table. Act like a child you'll be with the children! Yup

My mom's cousins, and 2nd cousins. 8 extra guests (an entire table) that I have literally seen 5 times in my entire life. I'd rather use those slots for some friends.
