I once showed my FH an instagram post of a girl who said "my boyfriend calls me his favorite foods and its so sweet". Of course the names were like "muffin" or "vanilla cake".

Now, i will get texts from my future spouse that say "Goodmorning my BLT with extra bacon" or "Sweet Dreams my little kale salad with extra dressing"

I think its funny and cute but sometimes when people hear him or i use "pet names" like these.. they think we are so weird!

My pet name is honey or babe....

I call him honey or love bug. He calls me Babadook or Dooks. We watched the movie The Babadook earlier in our relationship and for some reason he just started calling me Babadook and he’s made up songs with it too. But now he just calls me Dooks.

My pet name for him is Bambi. That’s the name I came up with the day I met him and it stuck 9years later 😆 there was a time my friends had no idea what his real name was cause I would just call him Bambi. He calls me kitten or goobear.

Babe, honey bunny, homeboy (not really a pet name but something I call him daily), booger butt.

Yeah we're that couple.. but honestly those words never leave the house. But it does feel weird to call him his name to his face.
