Fill in the blank! Whether you had decision fatigue, or just didn't end up caring about a specific part of the wedding as much as you thought you would - what did you just not care that much about? 🤷

The small details of the wedding. Especially what people should wear. Saying I don't care isn't acceptable because they don't believe us when we really don't care what people wear.

Wedding favors for guests and gift boxes asking BMs to be BMs, waste of money.

Flowers! Or ceremony decor. It's 30 minutes and seems like SO MUCH MONEY for those silly details. Luckily FH's sister is a florist and is helping us a ton....but even still...I just can't get excited for flowers.

So many of the little decor details that my coordinator has asked us about! Things like... the font on the menu. She showed us a sample and asked if we wanted to change the font. I'm like..... "it... looks fine....?" hahaha. Then things like do we want round or oval tables. Do we want to bring our own card box or use theirs. Idk, it's all the same to me! Weirdly, even though my FH usually leaves most of the planning up to me (lol) he actually DID have opinions on all these little details hahaha. I just left it up to him!

All of the little extras, and signs, a lot of people are asking me all of these super specific details and what signs i'm going to have and what accent is going with this or what decoration piece with this and that, and i'm just not all for it, I have a lot more to stress about and i'm not adding anything extra to my stress list lol!

Hashtags - I personally dislike them

Proposal Gifts - nope, just nope

Certain Traditions - like the bouquet/garter toss

Wedding Favors - not doing them

More than a few things lol... my bridal shower, I already told my MoH that I don’t want one. What people wear. We’re just buying a huge speaker system, no DJ. I’m super laid back lol

Guest favors. Can't make everyone happy. So we decided to ditch it. Most favors get left on the tables anyway.

Traditions such as cake cutting, not seeing each other before walking down the aisle, garter toss, etc.

Floral arrangements, not even having them doing candles and fake flowers instead. Much cheaper. Plus I am allergic to flowers

All of the bridesmaids being perfectly matched. Just happy they are sharing my day!
Don't mind that we are not using fine China at the reception. Just thankful that we are having friends, family and good food Smiley smile

Cake cutting, garter toss, bouquet toss, first dance, speeches, color schemes, themes, favors, hashtags.... I could go on and on. We will avoid most of these things, other than the first dance.

Favors, first dance, or the garter. Also, vows...I know I’m horrible. But I have a huge fear of public speaking and just the thought of telling my fh how I feel about him in front of everyone we know and love.....I’m gonna die lol

The garter removal. Seems so awkward. And the boquet toss.
