Hi everyone! It's been months since I last got on. Life has been super busy. I finally got my pro pics back. The photographer had a few set backs during editing so I gave her extra time to do my photos.
I'll start with some advice:
- get ready in a hotel if possible. I am glad we rented a room. I was going to have everyone get hair and make up done at the salon, then drive to the venue to get dressed. I'm glad I changed my mind on that. It was easier for everyone to be in one spot until we were ready.
-buy veil weights. It was a super windy day. The forecast did not call for wind at all, but as we arrived to the venue it got windy out of nowhere.
-break in your shoes waayyy in advance. My shoes hurt my feet so bad after 2 hours.
-drink water. No questions, just do it.
-eat breakfast! My hotel had a pancake machine that cooked pancakes inside and had a conveyor belt that rolled them out on to your plate. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Totally worth going downstairs for food instead of pacing back and forth nervously like I was before up in the room.
-make a detailed list of what to bring to the venue, and check it twice. I forgot our "thank you" sign for pics. I almost cried when I realized I left it at home.
-get a professional DOC. my DOC was a life saver!
- Take it all in and enjoy the day
