My advice is to take your time, and hire a wedding planner if it's within your budget! Mine is handling sooooo much and all I have to do is answer an email or two per week.
Beautiful ring and pictures. Congratulations! My advice is to browse venues that you like and contact them for quotes. THEN establish a budget. You’ll be more informed when coming up with your budget and can decide you want less guests at your favorite venue or you need to look at different venues to satisfy your budget and guest list.

Congrats!
I second Maria’s advice. Whatever you think your budget is now, be prepared to easily double it. Sticker shock sucks but it’s reality.

Congratulations!! My advice would be: well when I got engaged I was swept up in the excitement and fantasy, so definitely wait till that dies down to book a venue. Enjoy your engagement!

Such a sweet picture! Start thinking about a budget, guest list & venue but also don't feel the need to rush anything! Congrats!
Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful!! My advice.....take breaks when you feel you need to during planning. Planning a wedding is stressful, don't be afraid to take a weekend (or like me 2 months) off from planning. Also tour AS MANY venues as you want before choosing the one, and ask all the questions you want. Weddings are a business, and you want to make sure your money is being well spent. Happy planning OP.
Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful. My advice is set a budget, then a guest list and book a venue. And keep wedding talk to a minimum with anyone other than your FH. People get crazy when there's a wedding.
I love your pictures!!! And congrats it’s an exciting time!!
The only advice I have is when you’re looking at a venue make sure to check if they have certain caterers they only allow you to use. That was our problem lol, we got so excited that we put the deposit down before researching that. We ended up finding one in the few they offered but it’s going to way more expensive that what we thought! Lol and it’s just food!! Sticker shock is a real thing!
So sweet! And your ring is gorgeous! It's easy to want to dive all in and consume yourself with planning, but try to just enjoy being engaged as well! Depending where you're from, wedding prices will vary considerably, so definitely put in some research before setting a concrete budget.
Congratulations! My piece of advice is to at least get your venue booked first and foremost. If you decide to hold off on the other stuff for a bit, go for it. But no venue = no date. We’re a 2019 couple as well and we essentially have all the big moving parts done, but that’s only because come January, both FH and I will be up to our eyes in work and schoolwork that I didn’t want wedding planning to have to be prioritized in the midst of it. Have fun being engaged and planning!
