Finally Feeling Optimistic!

Yes! The end is in sight! However, I am wary; I really hope that states opening up and people letting their guards down don't lead to a strain that the vaccines are not effective against becoming the dominant one... but I think the likelihood of that is low. The end is in sight, but until then, don't let your guards down!

Our governor is keeping mask restrictions in place until at least July, which isn’t ideal but it’s enough time for people to get vaccinated before they’re lifted. I think the careful people will keep being careful and the careless ones will continue to be careless but hopefully they’ve already caught COVID and won’t manage to spread it too much or help variants pick up too much traction.

Our Governor is lifting restrictions on capacity limits and travel restrictions because since the vaccine started rolling out numbers have gone down, though we right now still have a mask mandate.

My state is doing an age based rollout, so it will be open to all by May!
