We finally did it! We said our vows, and had the BEST day of our lives. Hello ladies and gents, I'm Stephanie just a small town girl from Virginia and here's my story. I grew up in a county called Rockbridge. Moved and found my soulmate. He was out of school and I was in my last year of 12th grade. We started dating May 22nd 2012, got engaged on July 18 2017, had our son August 26th 2017 bought our first home March 2018 and finally got married on July 31 2021. Yea we did things alittle backwards but I wouldn't change it for anything. But anyways on to our wedding day. It was a beautiful day as the days before hand was hot and Miserable. The wind was blowing, it wasn't hot, and the birds were chirping. It was ment to be. that morning I met up with the ladies at the venue at 9am to get our hair and makeup done. the guys came around 1pm to start getting ready. I ended up doing a first look with my mother, father, step dad and 2 brothers and of course at the time my soon to be husband. Before I did mine and my husbands first look I had my maid of honor give him his day of gift. (Ladies if your undecided with what to get for a day of gift defiantly look into doing a boudoir session and giving him a book). He loved it the look on his face was priceless and he has it locked in his gun safe so nobody will find it. I was hesitant about doing a first look with Travis as I thought it was going to take away his emotions as I was walking down the aisle but it didn't. He teared up at both. It was the BEST choice I could've picked! Defiantly do it! We gave each of our parents a hanker chef that was personalized and the mothers got a pearl necklace also. Before I walked down the aisle I had my dad walk down to get my step dad as he has taken care of me for half my life. When he came into the venue he asked what was wrong because my dad told him that I needed him I told him " come grab my arm as your walking me down the aisle as you helped me become the women I am today." we did all the dances and of course Step dad also had one. We took lots of photos and I mean ALOT. When we did the garter toss Travis chose to come in with an impact and crawl under my dress like he was working on a car ( he's a big car guy) as he was doing it he would toss bolts and so forth from under my dress then took my garter off and tossed it out. It was GREAT!! As the night went on we hangout with family, drank and danced (my side danced the most as his family doesn't dance). The day flew by before I knew it we was saying bye to everyone. Make sure you get pictures of everyone and cherish your day just remember not to be rude or argue with anyone if things don't go as planned. On September 2nd 2021 we lost my father in law unexpected. Travis lost his dad, our son lost his best friend. Before the wedding we had to choose another person to be in the wedding party as my husbands brother couldn't come in for the wedding. Travis's dad ended up being his BEST MAN and he couldn't be more thankful for it because not only he had his best friend by his side but now he has all those pictures to cherish. We hope you enjoy our pictures and our story!!
