Finally!! Tracked down a harry potter program

Stacey, on August 16, 2013 at 11:40 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

So after much searching, I have been successful in finding an elegant, yet Harry Potter themed program. It will cost a bit to get the template and print, but totally worth it for the fun factor. I really debated creating just a basic DIY, but I fell in love with this one when I saw it.

Got a hold of the designer and he is will to sell the template!!

    That's amazing! Happy Harry potter wedding! Are you going to have the houses, and snitches, and a sorting hat near your escort cards?

    We aren't having a fully themed wedding. I was crazy enough to NOT think of the theme until a few weeks ago. WTF was I thinking, I am a huge fan and didn't come up with that.

    But what we are doing instead is having small elements throughout. Our cake topper, we are doing photo booth picture style table numbers, so we will dress up in batman and HP attire (of course have a 9 3/4 table). I am have some elements at the candy buffet, bernie botts all flavor jelly beans, 'wands' aka twizzlers. Also making golden snitch cake pops for the candy buffet. OH and having a special drink at the bar with a clever HP name, ex: "the mojito that cannot be named". I am also make a 'floating key' seating chart, to some what resemble the flying keys. I am making tags and ordered vintage keys, attaching them via ribbon, then hanging off of fishing wire.

    The only thing I don't like about the invites is the glossy paper. If you used a rough feeling paper that was matte I think it would look more like an old map.

    @Briggitte

    I agree with you. I am going to use the parchment paper you find at staples, it will be perfect for this.
