Finding hair and makeup artists

I looked up ones that were closer to our venue than us. Ours is 2 hours away from our home, so I did this to help cut the travel fee down. Once I did that, I looked at reviews and any social media each vendor had. I compared prices for each, and also looked at their hair & mua's works to see if they have experience with the type of look I'm going for. After that, I reached out to my pick and told them how many needed their services, and which artists I was interested in booking.

The next step is booking my trial run, which is included in my bridal package.

I'd ask them if they require deposits, how they accept payment, when payment(s) are due, and what their travel fee is.

You can look on thumbtack but you can also ask for recommendation on social media. That's what I did and ended up finding a MUA that I absolutely lovedddd. I've since gone to only her for all of my events!

I would ask around some friends and family. Someone should know the perfect person for you!

I did a search for people between where we live and where our venue is, and having found some, I looked up their socials, read reviews, then went for a trial. I went for ones which seemed to have good reviews, that I got on with, and that had consistent results on their instagram.
