Finding someone to do just bride's makeup/hair

Hey all,

We aren't trying to go crazy and spend a ton on wedding party makeup/hair, but I'd like to have mine done.

I'm having a really hard time finding a makeup/hair vendor willing to do just the bride rather than a whole party.

Has anyone else had luck finding someone willing to do a one-off?

You might have luck finding a salon nearby where you’re getting ready and seeing if they do bridal HAMU.

Some MUAs and hairstylists require a minimum number of people in order for them to travel to a venue. Are you open to going to a salon on the morning of your wedding?
Have you checked out any local salons in the vicinity of your venue that may have appointments or be able to suggest someone?
Are you going to require a trial before your wedding?

I would try Facebook marketplace! you may find someone there. Otherwise, talk to your bridal party. Maybe they want their hair done and are willing to pay themselves? Every wedding I've been to, and my own, I paid for my hair myself (as a bridesmaid and bride) and would always want my hair done.
