Fingertip-length or Cathedral-length veil??

I'm really undecided on what length veil to get for my dress and would love to hear opinions!

Option 1: Get a dreamy cathedral-length veil for the ceremony and wear a second, shorter one during the reception (Price isn't an issue, I'm not planning on buying designer veils)

Option 2: Get a fingertip-length veil and just keep wearing it the whole time.


Note... These aren't the ones I'm considering, just reference for length.

    I would get a fingertip veil! I got one because my dress has a train I didn't want to cover up

    I vote cathedral every time-I’m such a sucker for a dramatic veil! I bought one and I cannot wait to wear it! If you want to wear a veil the whole night, get a dramatic one for photos and your ceremony then switch to an easier one to wear for the party!

    I love the cathedral length for the ceremony but personally wouldn't wear one for the reception. So many people are going to want to hug you and congratulate you and I've heard so many times that people end up pulling your veil out/your hair down, while hugging you. Obviously not on purpose, but I know I plan on taking mine out as soon as the reception is over. I say go with the cathedral for the ceremony and call it a day!

    I'd go cathedral but only wear it for ceremony. Usually people don't wear it for reception anyway

    Id say cathedral! It looks like it completes the dress. Its very grand, but it completes the look in my opinion
