Finish The Sentence: I knew they were “the one” when _____.

There's not a specific moment.. we were 16. But mostly, he accepted me with all of me weirdness.

I was talking with my hubby to figure this one out, lol. He says he knew when we had a little spat-like conversation (where he was the one doing the spatting) the night before Thanksgiving, just two months after we started dating, and he was forced to figure out his feelings (his words).
For me, there wasn't really any one defining moment. He's just never not been the one, I think, and there was no sudden, holy crap he’s the one, but more of a, of course he’s the one, did you ever think he wasn’t? Like, I didn’t start out wondering if he were the one or not, so by the time the question was ever posed, there was no question.

Several little things like PP's have mentioned. The night we met, he kept saying to me "I will be right back-don't go anywhere" and he always came right back. He said he'd never done that with anyone ever before. The time he made me stuffed French toast. I knew I needed to be the taste tester for all his delicious food! I have bathroom problems and can't really "go" in public places. After a few weeks of us dating, I asked him while we were out to take me home really quick so I could go to the bathroom and he didn't hesitate. That is so important to me!

We had our first date and kiss.

When we were moving across the country and our AC broke at the beginning of the trip. We traveled 4,000+ miles in 90-100 degrees temps and had a blast and didn’t kill each other

We ended up at the same Han Solo movie premiere and ordered the same thing off the dinner menu afterward.

I'm not sure if there was a specific moment, but I knew he truly loved me early on when he helped me through a difficult event in my life!

We kissed for the first time

He changed his whole life style for me and our kids.

When we moved in together. Everything has always clicked since day one, but when we moved in together we just realized how well we work together, and how we are truly each others best friend.

It really snuck up on me. There was one distinct moment when I was watching him sleep and he smiled that my heart just melted. Knowing that someone can love myself and my children so much just completed me. He found me in the middle of a storm and painted my skies on beautiful colors!

It just kind of snuck up on me, but I loved and still love his sense of humor!

He was friendzoned HARD when we started hanging out.. The first moment I knew I cared for him was almost a month before we were officially dating. I was going through a hard time, personally, and he was there for me like nobody ever has been. He talked me through it when I needed it, but he was mostly just a shoulder I could cry on and a person I could trust. I'm not generally a person that trusts people very easily, but he made me feel comfortable in my decision to trust him, and he's never changed that opinion. Having that kind of trust in someone made me feel safe with him. It grew from there

I knew they were "the one" when my son opened up to him. If my son didn't like you then it was a wrap!

I knew the minute I met him that he was the one, that was 7 years ago.

I knew He was "the one" when we used to stay up late talking on the phone, even when he had just been on a 15 hours fire call. He made time for me and he still does! He was also my best friend before we started dating!

When he asked me on a date and I said no. Because I couldn’t afford a babysitter. He asked how much did they charge. And he paid my babysitter so we could go out.

In one year we dealt with so many obstacles. After getting to our new apartment the following year I knew he was it!
