All of it. Especially the venues. Not a single thing within a reasonable distance for under $3,000.

The venue's are pretty costly for a couple of hours of blissful fun. However, we are going to make it happen for our big day. We are worth it!

Venues that provide nothing but space and tables and chairs... it's outrageous!

Catering! Trying so hard to find a good venue that allows outside caterers. Also, photography - but I'm willing to pay a pretty penny for those precious memories.

Flowers! My bouquet is $175 and to me, that's insane!

Flowers are too expensive. I'm not getting real ones because they wither and die. Silk ones will be thrown away but maybe someone will keep it as a momento.

Everything! It all adds up so quickly. Even looking at everything frugally it’s still a lot for me to swallow.

As a photographer, I know photography and videography is expensive, and we have reasons for that. Flowers, well it is kinda surprising to me that my EO is charging almost $400 for just an okay bouquet.


But.........My EO is doing destination wedding ceremony, so each couple decide where and what time, and we are given 35 minutes for the ceremony, and the next couple will arrive right before we will be done..... Get that? So, I believe there are spots where they already set archers, so they don’t have to build and rebuild, but why do they cost a couple hundred dollars???? The flowers are fake, and they are reusable!
