Everything!! We have cut costs elsewhere by really deciding what we want and don't want. We aren't going traditional with the cake. We are doing nothing bundt cakes 2 tier bundt cake with the bundtlets which are small cupcake versions of the bigger bundt cakes. We are having my future husbands family cook for the wedding as we are having a small wedding. All in all its about what fits the couple. I did splurge on my photographer and was surprised at how expensive it was but you only get to do the big day once so I wanted it to be perfect. I'm so glad with my choice!

Flowers at pictures...my daughters christening everything was 75 to 50% cheaper..you add wedding and boom the price doubles and triples..why for the same services???

Everything! I can’t believe my alterations are $800 and I am not doing anything crazy with the dress, just a few standard changes and making it smaller.. not adding any fabric lol

Photographers and Officiants! We’ve looked hard for deals and DIY and have been pretty successful. But the worst was photography! We paid $2900 for 2 photographers for 5 hours with a free photo book. I get that they spend time editing and she’s much better than most photographers but omg, that’s insane. We got an all inclusive venue, that saved us a ton and it’s so pretty it needs very little decorations. We’re doing DIY flowers for $300. Our DJ was only $675 for the whole event! And they are highly rated and highly recommended by our planner who was also reasonably priced. Using wedding wire to search multiple vendors has saved us a TON. Officiants are pricey! $200-500 to read a script I can download from the internet? We’re having a friend do it for free.

Just throw the qord wedding in front of anything and you start to see those dollar signs add up, thats why we are going as inexspensive as possible
