Garter toss & bouquet toss have been tossed out! I want to keep the bouquet & neither of us want him to take the garter off with his teeth.

The giving away of the bride, cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, corsages and boutonnieres for folks not actually in the wedding party, gifts/praise for parents during the wedding (all parents will recieve lovely ambums), ring bearer, mother/son and dad/daughter dances, programs (never saw these done anyway), RSVP return cards...

Wedding favors and alcohol (I have my reasons)

We skipped the parent/child dances. We only had a 2 hour reception and I don't like slow dancing as it is and think they are super awkward.

Apparently my mom was really ticked we didn't do it which I found out recently but hey it was my wedding not hers.

Garter toss *cringe*, flower girl, ring bearer assigned seating for the meal, RSVP cards, a send off and a few more I think

The traditional catholic ceremony. His family has a lot of catholic members but neither him or I have ever been. We are merging two cultures but skipping the Catholicism.
