Firing wedding planner one month out

We planned booked our wedding gor 8 21 21 2 years ago, I interviewed several plannners and descided to use someone locally in the Hudson valley area. Well during that time I paid the retainer, did one face to face and even during the pandemic paid her ahead of time due to her having "an emergency " and fanacial issues during the pan3and i trult felt bad and blessed I had my job. During this time i only got one design mock up which was prior covid. Never got a new one when we changed our total number i gave her the vendors she has never called them she missed meetings at my venue because her car broke down she had another emergency . I lost it last week when she missed another called meeting with my entertainment company who is doing my dj lighting photography and phot booth she asked me to give her the notes saying she had another meeting. I sent her a not so nice text she responded with a condisending email asking what i eould like her to do to fix it
She has done bare minimum. i emailed her and asked she give me back some money and to only do day off. Air silence do 5 days later i emailed her to fire her and asked for half the money back due in 7 days. My venue coordinator is the best she will assist and im willing to pay my florest who is amazing some extra funds to help as well. Im so stressed that someone i thought was a professional wasn't. I feel so dumb i always plan my own big events. My fiance and i are getting married 13 years later so with children we've done 150 plus parties and for this one day i gave in and asked for help. I want to blast her on social media and the wedding sites but the near 50 year old is telling me to adult and not to. So now im going continue what i was doing but im praying the day of goes smoothly. This is just nuts..ladies beware i thought i checked enough wanted to give a local girl a try. Next time ill stick to major companies not or just do it myself.
