I'm starting to think you have a personal investment in this matter, meaning you have firsthand experience because maybe you were adopted yourself. Ultimately, someone chose to love you like you were their own, at least I hope. If your experience was the opposite, I am sorry you were made to feel such a way. I responded to someone's post and provided my opinion. I don't see how it's wrong that if I'm fortunate to have children, I would LOVE to create little versions of my husband and I to pass on our DNA as first-time parents. It's in our nature. If somehow we cannot create our own, adoption is a beautiful thing. I feel as though you are wrongfully attacking me over "MY" preference. I have not and won't ever tell someone else what to do with their body. I will not be shamed for wanting to, if possible, reproduce and experience what it is like to create a life and give birth.

I think it depends on each couple. What they want.

Both sides of our parents new from the get go not to expect grandchildren from us, because were okay just with fur babies, ha!
